Nominations for Groundwater
Protection Awards

The Central Region Groundwater Protection Committee is accepting nominations for Groundwater Protection Awards in the categories of student, teacher, individual, and community/organization. Applications must be received by May 3, 2013 and nominee must reside in Mason, Peoria, Tazewell, or Woodford County. Awards will be presented at the Central Region Groundwater Protection Committee Award Ceremony (date to be scheduled).

Nomination Requirements:

STUDENT: Must actively be involved in research and/or investigation in groundwater protection.

TEACHER: Must be actively involved in promoting groundwater protection in the classroom.

INDIVIDUAL: Must be actively involved in promoting groundwater protection.

COMMUNITY/ORGANIZATION: Must be actively involved in protecting groundwater in their community or with their organization's activities.
